Insurances taken
A vision insurance policy is not the same as health insurance. Regular health insurance plans protect you against financial losses due to unexpected eye injuries or disease. Vision insurance, on the other hand, is a wellness benefit designed to provide routine eye care, prescription eye wear and other vision related services at a reduced cost. We can bill either insurance plan for you.
Because we provide both medical and routine eye care, we accept a number of insurance plans to help cover the cost depending on your individual needs. Below are some of the plans that we accept. We are approved providers for the majority of vision and medical insurance plans; including VSP, Medicare, Medicare Complete, Aetna, AARP, Avesis, Blue Cross, Most Cigna Plans, Davis Vision, Humana, Multiplan, Mutual of Omaha, CompBenefits/VCP, Eye Med, Superior Vision, Safeguard, United Health Care, Seminole Tribe, Tricare, Spectera, UMR, UMWA and many others. |
Please bring in any and all of your health insurance and vision insurance cards with you at the time of your exam. If your insurance coverage is through a spouse or parent, you must provide their date of birth, ID# or in some cases their social security number, and the name of their employer when you check in for your appointment.
* If you do not see your plan listed, please give Macali Eye Clinic a call and we would be happy to assist you. Our staff is always available to answer any questions regarding your benefits. |
